Rockbridge CHORUS
The Rockbridge Chorus was founded in 1975 and has continued for over 50 years! We are a diverse group of local, amateur singers, who come from all walks of life, backgrounds, vocations and avocations, and hail from all parts of the country, in keeping with the eclectic nature of the local community. Many sing in local church choirs and performing groups, small and large, up and down the Shenandoah Valley.
During the concert season, which runs from September to May, the group comes together one night a week for rehearsals and performs an annual holiday concert in December. The season usually ends in the spring with a concert featuring musical genres from folk to the Bach Passions. In addition to our usual concerts, we will once again host a community Messiah Sing-Along in November and a pops concert in May.
